The sensor housing is designed using 3D CFD flow simulation to minimize disruption of the vehicle's aerodynamics. Simultaneously, the sensor's inner chamber is optimized for homogeneous airflow over the measuring unit, regardless of speed, through a pre-chamber, also utilizing 3D CFD flow simulation.

Each Type K or PT1000 thermocouple of the "MQ1000 Lite" is calibrated using a PT1000 reference source to ensure high accuracy and reliability of measurements.

The "MQ1000 Lite" is coated with a durable, high-gloss 2K paint in white. This coating reduces heating from sunlight and ensures precise ambient temperature measurement.
